ISSN National Agency

The Slovak ISSN National centre acts as an executive authority of the International ISSN Network for Slovakia.The ISSN Network is made up of National Centres  whose work  is coordinated by the ISSN International Centre situated in Paris.The ISSN Network was establish to control the assignment of ISSN, to maintain a database of records for the world serial publications and to support the bibliographic control. The Slovak National ISSN Centre performs the funktion   of ISSN assignment, the maintenance of the Slovak  national  ISSN database, advertisment and promotion of the system and contact with the local bibliographic and publishing communities.
