DOAJ - a list of freely available electronic journals is a service and a project from the Lund University (Sweden) that covers freely accessible, full-text scientific journals from all fields and languages. For som titles the Publisher makes available full-text articles with a certain delay (months, years).

Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers (BETA) - Chronicling America is a Website providing access to inform about historic newspapers and select digitized newspaper pahes, and is produced by the National Digital Newspaper Program (NDNP). NDNP, a partnership between the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the Library Congress (LC), is a long-term effort to develop in Internet-based, searchable database of U.S. newspapers with desciptive information and selct digitization of historic pages. Supported by NEH, this rich digital resource will be developed and permanently maintained at the Library of Congress.
