Foreign libraries

University Library in Bratislava is the coordinating and executive unit of the international library and information cooperation, cooperating and establishing direct relations with foreign libraries and information institutions. It is a member of the International libraries, information and cultural associations and organizations involved in the activities of their institutions, professional groups and is also involved in cooperative projects, particularly within the European research and development programs.

University Library in Bratislava focuses trough its special collections of books and media, foreign sub-libraries. The extensive international cooperation, multicultural focus, acquire, professional processes and makes available profile information activities of foreign cultures. Library collections are built trough grants and gifts on the basis of bilateral agreements within individual countries and representations of partner institutions around the world.
