CDN
When you enable a container for CDN, your media files receive a web-ready URL that you can share with anyone. CDN accelerates the speed in which your content is delivered by caching files locally to your users.
Private Containers
Security of your files is a top priority, which is why all traffic between your application and Cloud Files uses SSL to establish a secure, encrypted channel. You have full control over sharing your files publicly or keeping them private.
Take advantage of advance features like: temporary URLs that provide access to your Cloud Files objects for a specified period of time and Large files upload for HD movies, or backups, in multiple file segments while still being able to download as a single file.

Prices are based on aggregate total of storage and bandwidth for your account across all US regions.
Storage
Pay less per GB when you store more files and media. Tiered pricing applies to your total Cloud Files usage per account across all US regions.
CDN Bandwidth
Tiered pricing applies to your aggregate CDN bandwidth usage per account across all US regions. The more you use, the more you save. (Note: CDN for Cloud Files is unrelated to Rackspace CDN, a separate offering with its own pricing model.)
