Potravinárstvo®, will use antiplagiarism tool

Potravinarstvo, Scientific Journal for Food Industry  will use the antiplagiarism tool CrossCheck from the 1st of October 2013. CrossCheck is powered by iThenticate software created by iPARADIGMS, LLC. CrossCheck providing the access to the continuously growing database of current and archival scholarly literature. The iThenticate tool compares authored work against the content in the database and highlight matching or similar text for further editorial review. We will actively contribute to the detection of unethical practices in publishing scientific papers and arrange check originality of articles published in our journal. All articles uploaded to our editorial management system will be automatically checked using the software CrossCheck. Our journal will allow the access to the fulltext content to be indexed and included in the CrossCheck database. All articles published in our journal from 1st of January 2010 will be included to this database. This step ensures the active protection of the Authors’ copyright by our journal. Potravinarstvo, Scientific Journal for Food Industry  will follow the steps of the leading publishers of the scientific papers and literature in the fight against plagiarism.
