You can cancel your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription at any time and then sign up for EA Play. To cancel your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, sign in at account.microsoft.com/services. Under Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, select Payment & billing, then Cancel. You’ll have an option to end your subscription on its expiration date. Depending on your subscription’s status, you may also have an option to end it immediately with a refund of the price you paid for Ultimate only.

Note: the upgrade of any prepaid time can’t be reverted to Xbox Live Gold or other Xbox Game Pass plans and is not eligible for refund.

At launch, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will automatically receive an entitlement for EA Play on console. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC members will need to create an EA account and link it to your Xbox account, and download EA’s PC client to get started on PC. Once complete you’ll be able to download and play EA Play games through the Xbox Game Pass experience on Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, and the Xbox app for Windows 10.

At launch, Xbox Game Pass members will need to link their Xbox and EA accounts and make sure they have the EA PC client downloaded to enjoy EA Play titles on PC. The Xbox app on Windows 10 will walk you through the setup process if you don’t already have both. Once you install EA’s PC client and link your accounts you will be able to browse the EA Play catalog and download games via both the Xbox app and EA’s PC client.

EA Play members who join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will have their EA Play membership automatically canceled and any remaining time will be rounded up and converted to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate based on the following table:
