I’m very picky about my mouse. It will be in my hand 40+ hours a week so better be ready. It feels solid when it is in my hand. Ergonomically, my thumb does not drag on the desk next to it when it moves, my wrist is just right, and the mouse buttons are not too easy to click. This is something I have always looked for is a mouse where the buttons didn’t just click haphazardly if I rested my hand on it. Give it a try comparing the other name brands and you’ll see what I mean. Also, charge it and it’s good for 3 months - sold. I am not willing to buy batteries, so the charge overnight ever so often is totally fine by me. Scrolling options are nice too. Smooth vs. the magnetic “chunking” thing is easy to switch between. Thumb buttons work great for forward, backward, and the center one for showing my applications is nifty. One area of opportunity - I travel frequently and would like a case for this mouse so it doesn’t get banged up or dirty - that too would be nifty!

old fashioned black mouses are so ugly when they meet newest laptops on market, because newest laptops are almost silver or gray. 3 btle bondings to 3 different computers are also very useful. Very handy, very beautiful!

This mouse constantly drops out in Windows 10. I have to reset it probably 5-10 times a day. I've sent a request to windows for a solution. If nothing comes back, I'll be returning it. Buyer Beware.

Review title of RobertSomewhat Disappointed

It's a nice mouse, and it works smoothly, but there are some things about it that annoy me. First, the color is off. It does not quite match the Surface dial and keyboard, so it looks out of place on the desk. Second, the placement of the thumb buttons is not quite right. I am coming from a Logitech MX500 mouse, where the "back" button was right under my thumb and was effortless to flick. With this mouse, I have to bend my thumb carefully to avoid hitting the center "task view" button instead. I do like having the task-view button, but I just wish it were a little further forward. Finally, the scroll-wheel button is too sensitive. Often when I am scrolling quickly, I end up clicking the wheel by mistake, which puts Chrome into a velocity-scrolling mode. I think it is only supposed to be in this state while the button is depressed, but somehow it misses the up transition and remains in that state. Very annoying.

Review title of SuadExquisite!

Precision is the name and Microsoft Surface Precision Mouse is the game. I just hooked it up to my MacBook Air and it is precise and feels fantastic in the hand. As a quick comparison, I did try the Logitech Master MX Master 2S and this is mouse is comparable (buttons, scroll wheel - the rubber "thumb pad" is not clickable however) but, this mouse "feels" better in the hand. There is a lever of precision that I feel I have with this mouse, and I did not have that with the MX M 2S. Finally the build quality is better as well. Even the charging plug end is curved to fit the contour of the mouse - nice detail! Way to go MS design crew!

I had the other surface slim mouse that flattens however I hated it, it felt strange holding it and the buttons were awkward, I bought this mouse as a replacement and I love it, makes working on the PC now just like working at home.

Review title of WesNow I just need a multi device keyboard!

Just got the precision mouse and love it. Have been a tracking ball hold out for years so quite skeptical about going back to a mouse, but happy I did. The multi device pairing works fantastically. Configuring the buttons even to application specific functions is a plus. DEVELOPERS! Get me a ergo surface keyboard that will swap devices with the paired mouse! PLEASE!

Review title of ChristianNo Software Support | Scroll Lags | Beautiful Mouse

Microsoft doesn't have software support for the device yet (as James mentioned in his review). Kinda disappointing. Large awkward oversight. https://www.microsoft.com/accessories/en-us/downloads In free scroll mode if you scroll to far, scrolling lags for a bit/ Compared it to the Logitec MX Master 2S. Favored this mouse. Love the design and feel of the mouse. Love the free scroll and granular click scroll both so much I don't know which to choose and often just switch between the two for fun.
