With some of our news portals running WP since 1.6, we have many custom widgets for content management, relational data, and shortcode to embed dynamic elements within paragraphical content in 'classic editor' mode. We rely on these widgets for daily business and they will not be updated to the 'block widget' format which renders them unusable with wonky javascript mess. I think the value of this plugin cannot be overstated. Last week I installed on one site to make sure it worked. 100,000 installs showing on the plugin page. This week, installed on all of our sites (more than a dozen), now up to 200,000 installs, so it's not just us who need this, clearly. 🙂 Really, for long running WP sites, the option to enable/disable this should/could be a toggle, not afterthought. We will need this option *permanently* available so will be looking to see if there is function hook we can put into our own custom code base. THANK YOU for not abandoning your long time users by making this available! Works perfectly. 🙂

Awesome Plugin. In this day and age you should not force your users to follow the rest of the crowd, especially when the block editor is not very user friendly. This plugin saved a headache!

This plugin saved the day. People should have choices, not just forcing people to "upgrade" to a disaster function.

Since WP 5.8 the Appareance > Widgets administration area is totally messed up, this plugin fixes it.

Saves the day from the evil Gutenberg. Just works well. Could do manual codeing to disable blocks, But this plugin saved the day! Thank You! Simply put Just Works!

Now everything back to normal.
