At the international conference Maintenance 2021, Mr. Štětka, a project coordinator, gave a lecture on Intelligent Maintenance at Škoda Auto. Among other things, he presented the use and benefits of AMU - a mobile maintenance application, one of the pillars of Smart maintenance.

East-Gate supplied AMU for Škoda Auto, on the PROCE55 Maintenance technology and application platform, and is used by several thousand users.

August 2021

East-Gate is a professional partner of the two-day conference Forum of Practical Maintenance 2021. Ivan Gallo will also speak at the conference, with a lecture on Integrated Agile Maintenance.

Managing director of East-Gate Automation, Ing. Juraj Sabaka, will speak with a presentation on the topic of Practical use of mobility in maintenance at the 17th International Professional Conference Maintenance 2021. East-Gate is also a professional partner of this event.

The conference takes place on September 8-9 2021, in the Conference Center of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, at the Liblice chateau. It is organized by ČSPÚ - Czech Maintenance Society.

April 2021

Tesgal Vráble, the leading Slovak company for surface treatment, especially galvanizing and phosphating, has signed a contract with East-Gate for the supply of a production monitoring system, including OEE and downtime analysis.

The solution will be integrated with the ERP system QAD MFG/Pro and will online collect production data from the lines. The production start is planned for the summer of 2021.

March 2021

After the successful implementation of the maintenance management project based on PROCE55 Maintenance from East-Gate in Germany, the NKT Group decided to implement this CMMS system to next 3 production plants in the Czech Republic and Poland.

The solution will be integrated with the SAP system and mobile maintenance will be part of the delivery, among other things.

East-Gate supplied Rajo with a milk receipt system.

The solution provides complete supplier and sample management and integrates multiple systems and technologies. Including the transport system, which is part of the car tanks, weighing systems, laboratory systems for evaluating milk samples and pumping milk into tanks.

Traceability and irreplaceability of samples is ensured through 2D codes. The solution consists of a web application and a mobile application.

February 2021

East-Gate supplies a tool management system for the Sodecia Matador Vráble plant.

The solution extends the PROCE55 systems for online production confirmation and online failure notifications of production facilities.

The system will be online integrated with the SAP system.

January 2021

NKT's largest production plant in Cologne has successfully implemented PROCE55 Maintenance.

The solution also includes mobile maintenance and data collection from machines and production lines - condition monitoring. More than 1000 sensors are connected to the system.

The solution is integrated with the SAP system and Wonderware ActiveFactory.

November 2020

RAJO a.s., the largest Slovak dairy producer, a member of the Meggle AG group, implements PROCE55 OEE for 17 production lines, including KPIs a downtime measurement and analysis. This roll-out follows the successful implementation of the pilot project.

The solution will automatically collect data from production lines and use barcodes to control processes. It will be integrated with the SAP economic system. The start of production is planned for the first half of 2021.

July 2020

East-Gate delivered to the Chinese refrigeration manufacturer, Haier Carrier Quingdao, a WMS system for warehouse management and internal logistics. Material flows are controlled by mobile terminals and barcodes. The system is used by approximately 30 stock-keepers and logistic operators. It is online integrated with the SAP system.

The solution was implemented during the corona pandemic, via remote access.

Haier Carrier Quingdao is a joint venture of Chinese Haier and American Carrier.

During the launch of the mobile maintenance project at Škoda Auto, Windows Mobile was the only allowed group mobile platform. The native mobile application had started in 2015 based on Windows Mobile 6.5 and was upgraded to Windows 10 Mobile in 2016. The Android platform was approved and added by the group in 2017, and since 2020, mobile maintenance has also been used on the iPhone iOS platform. MobileIron is used as an MDM (Mobile Device Management) platform.

The steel service center company, ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Senica, has expanded the PROCE55-based production and maintenance monitoring project with mobile maintenance and mobile inspection of dedicated technical equipment. The project uses PROCE55 Mobile Maintenance technology from East-Gate. Android-based smartphones are used as mobile devices.

April 2020

The mobile maintenance project at Škoda Auto has expanded from production to logistics. Logistics maintenance ensures the operability and availability of equipment providing internal logistics - transport between shops, lines, within lines, equipment and facilities in warehouses. The specificity of the project is that a large part of these devices do not have a fixed position and are in permanent motion. Maintenance in logistics is used in production plants in Mladá Boleslav, Kvasiny and Vrchlabí and the expected number of users is around 500. Android and iPhone iOS mobile platforms are used in the project.

East-Gate successfully deployed production monitoring on a pilot production line at the largest milk producer in Slovakia, RAJO a.s. Bratislava. Already during the first weeks, thanks to the PROCE5 OEE system and the online collection of real production data directly from the lines, there was possible to identify and reveal important potential for improvement. RAJO a.s. belongs to the German group Meggle AG and uses the SAP system for economic management.

Fatra Napajedla, one of the world’s foremost plastic processing companies (PVC, PE, and PET), is significantly expanding its production. At a new rolling mill plant, which is being developed for 1.4 billion CZK, Fatra will increase the total production capacity of floor coverings, waterproofing foils and will expand the offer of floor coverings. Fatra will use PROCE55 Manufacturing application as their MES system, which will collect data from production lines online and will be integrated with the SAP system. The solution includes production confirmation, label printing, finished products weighing and performance measurement, including OEE calculation and material balance.

Martin Chábela from ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC Slovakia and Juraj Sabaka from East-Gate held a speech named “The Road to Smart Maintenance” at the 8th annual Practical Maintenance Forum in Trnava. They presented practical experience with implementation of the smart maintenance system, which is being developed at ArcelorMittal Gonvarri based on PROCE55 Maintenance. The conference is organized by IPA Slovakia.

March 2019

East-Gate implemented Pick by Light system at Mýto plant of Carrier Refrigeration Operation Czech Republic, the manufacturer of refrigeration and freezing equipment for commercial purposes. The system was implemented in cooperation with the SSI SCHÄFER company which is a supplier of the Pick by Light technology. PROCE55 system manages picking of selected groups of materials for production based on pick-lists from the SAP system, which are created from production orders and employee identification. It checks whether workers selected the correct material in the required quantity and warns of any errors. The system extends the PROCE55 Warehouse system and is online integrated with the SAP system.

Matador Automotive Sodecia decided to extend the production monitoring and visualization project also to key machines at the Czech plant in Liberec.

It is an extension of the successful implementation of production monitoring, OEE measurement and visualization, which are already running on almost 50 machines at Slovak plants in Vráble and Nitra. Part of the project is online data collection from machines.

November 2018

Aside from other themes, the topic of intelligent maintenance was also discussed at the 15th international Maintenance conference. Ivan Gallo, the founder of East-Gate, also gave a speech together with speakers from Škoda Auto, Unipetrol, Slovnaft, ABB, Siemens and others. The conference took place at Liblice Castle, in the conference center of the Czech Academy of Sciences, under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.
