Call for New Members: Documentation Interest Group (DIG)

April 4, 2022

PKP is seeking new volunteer members to join the Documentation Interest Group, a community-led PKP working group that manages, creates, and improves documentation about PKP software and publishing best practices. This is a great opportunity for a community member to get more involved with PKP, network with PKP partners and other organizations, and advance documentation and support resources.

The DIG is one of PKP’s most active and productive groups.  Since its inception in 2017, it has created or updated the majority of the documentation in PKP’s Documentation Hub.

DIG members participate in bi-weekly virtual sprints where they collaborate with other members of the group to refine and create documentation about PKP software as well as general documentation to assist publishers, journal editorial staff, students, and authors. The DIG also meets monthly to strategize about documentation. DIG members also participate in in-person PKP sprints when possible, when they occur.

See the DIG’s Terms of Reference for more information about the Group.
