  • WP Cloud isn’t just another hosting option; it’s the only cloud platform built specifically for WordPress. ☁️ It handles all the behind-the-scenes heavy lifting, like security, automatic scaling, performance optimizations, and global redundancy, so site owners and businesses don’t have to worry about downtime or traffic spikes One of its most exciting use cases is with Pressable, which relies on WP Cloud for lightning-fast speeds, rock-solid reliability, and privacy-first hosting. That trust has helped Pressable grow nearly 47% year-over-year! As Automattic turns 20, we're proud to highlight the infrastructure that helps power everything from small business sites to enterprise platforms, keeping the web open, fast, and safe. 💙

The people of Automattic make the mission real. This reflection comes from Brandon Kraft, who has raised six kids, grown into leadership, and stayed grounded in what really matters. 👇 “I joined Automattic looking for something more family-friendly than freelancing—and if I was going to work for anyone, it needed to be a company that valued open source and treated people like people. Over a decade later, it still delivers on both. I’ve raised six kids here, traveled the world, and witnessed Automattic show up for folks in moments of real crisis—not just with policies, but with compassion. That kind of culture matters. One highlight for me has been the journey from Happiness Engineer to engineering lead, finding a space where servant leadership isn’t just possible—it’s the norm. Being surrounded by others who lead with humility and care; who want to see people grow. To me, making the web a better place means building for people, not for metrics—connecting humans without reducing them to clicks, conversions, or 'lifetime value.' That has been the consistent thread over my decade+ here.” 💙 A decade in, and the mission’s still the same: build for people, not just metrics.

This has been one of my favorite projects to be a part of. I love them all, but Faith Flanigan , Jalen Gildersleeve , Dr. Stuart Cowan , Felicia Chavez , and Buckminster Fuller Institute are such a joy to work with, and the website is a great testament to the life and legacy of Bucky and the future work of BFI.

The Buckminster Fuller Institute is a living archive of one of the 20th century’s most visionary thinkers. To carry that legacy forward, BFI needed a digital platform as resilient and future-ready as Fuller’s designs. Enter Automattic. With a new site built on WordPress, hosted on Pressable, and powered by Jetpack CRM, BFI.org now has the infrastructure to match its mission. 🎥 Watch how their transformation unfolded:
